Jenn Bliss to Organize Children's Activities

Having received feedback that many parents and their kids are planning to attend the action, New England United is working Jenn Bliss to organize meaningful, fun activities for kids at a Children's Tent. Here, accompanied by their parents or guardians, they will have a chance to listen to dramatic storytelling, have their faces painted, create new rhythms in drum circles and animate colorful, larger-than-life puppets.

More on Children's Activities Organizer: Jenn Bliss is a devoted teacher and performer, and loves to create activities and performances which bring children of all ages together to explore their own creativity, community and selves. She has directed the children's chorus for the Christmas Revels, taught workshops in puppetry and mask at Spontaneous Celebrations, and has coordinated the children's activities for the "Wake up the Earth" festival for the last 2 years. She taught music and movement to parents and children in the Boston area for 5 years, and is now launching her own production company, "MOONSHIP PRODUCTIONS" with her partner Jason Berube. The shows and workshops presented by The Moonship utilize giant puppets, storytelling, ritual and music to create interactive exploratory performance experiences.

As a steadfast activist for peace and community, she is excited to be creating an activities area for Children at the October 27 Peace Rally. She intends to create an area that is fun and comfortable, and emphasizes peace, working together and "Radical" self expression for all ages!

CAUTION: While we are happy to have children spending a lot of time at the Children's Tent during the event, they must always be accompanied by their parents or guardians. We CANNOT provide childcare.
